A New Adventure

"It's a dangerous business going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to."

That advice given to Frodo in the beloved Lord of the Rings trilogy rings true this summer as the little fairy princess (pictured above) and her siblings get ready to embark on a new adventure in their lives.



After taking a hiatus from the teaching field, the Lovely Wife has decided to return to the ranks of the gainfully employed. She will be teaching here, which affords us the opportunity to move our children to that school. While obviously there is some apprehension from The Horde when it comes to leaving behind good friends, the excitement over the many opportunities offered (as well as a pretty good sales job by the wife and I on the benefits of the school) easily outweighs those concerns.

A good friend of mine who is about to jump feet first into his own grand adventure recently reminded me that change is good. I'm hoping that is true. Either way, there are a lot of changes ahead for the Gresham Horde.

In that spirit, today's video is an old favorite done with a new twist.
