Graduation Day

Graduation ceremonies are always photography gold. There's emotion, celebration and, of course, the subjects are confined to one place.

And since yesterday the graduation ceremony I shot involved a bunch of kindergartners, that's a good thing.

Of late, I've been fortunate enough that my circle of friends has included several photo geeks like myself. The good news is those folks tend to push me to be more creative since most of their stuff are creative gems. It's way too easy at an event like a kindergarten graduation to stick to the posed shots. Yesterday, following the advice of my fellow photography bloggers, I tried to step outside of the norm and focus more on what was happening behind the scenes.
